- Account information. If you create an account, we may collect an email address and any name or display name you choose to provide.
- Approximate location. If you choose to enable it, we may use general location (such as ZIP code or metro area) to estimate local sales tax rates. This is optional, and the app's tax calculator can also be used by entering a tax rate manually.

We use the information above to operate the app's core features — smart lists, the total calculator, and budget tracking — to sync your data across devices, to respond to support requests, and to understand how the app is used so we can improve it. We do not sell your personal information.
3. How we share information
We do not share your personal information with third parties except in the following limited circumstances:
- With service providers who help us operate the app (such as cloud hosting or analytics providers).
- If required to comply with a law, regulation, or valid legal process.
4. Your choices

Cart Smarter is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we've collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it.
